How to have your bus lane ticket (PCN) cancelled

 

 INTRODUCTION

So you have received a penalty charge notice for an alleged bus lane contravention. So what can you do to have it cancelled? You may be surprised!

The contravention code for a bus lane contravention is number 34 – “vehicle seen contravening a bus lane”. “You may not park or drive in a bus lane during its hours of operation”.  You can however park or stop in a bus lane during its hours of operation where there is street side signage allowing you to do so.
